My boyfriend and I absolutely wanted to try this place since we live nearby. We were greeted haughtily and unkindly by the waitress a little older and blond haired and it did not seem to want to work that night. His service was slow and unprofessional. We even wanted to order another drink but it took too long before she came to make sure we liked our dish and glass of wine. We had to get up and manifest our final intention to pay and leave. The desire to tip him did not tempt me. All along we were there, she preferred to ignore us and look after the other tables. His behavior and service was different from table to table, which can be an asset depending on the circumstances. In summary, we would recommend this place if we had better service by someone else. To end on a positive note, the place is quaint, charming and the atmosphere is laid back.
Small very nice place! We love open kitchen, attentive service and a varied and affordable wine list.
Great atmosphere and wine
Warm neighbourhood wine bar with a good selection and nice staff.
Good selection of wine! Good advice on the selection. Good food, on the other hand very very slow service to eat.
Ruben and Jade the two best.es waiters, super nice, connoisseur.e.s great service
Nice wine bar, interesting wine selection but would have hoped for more diversity (wines were mostly French).
The portions are very small but the wine is excellent and the food too! The staff is also super nice :)
Staff is rude
We go there to discover new wines and have a quiet meal from time to time.Very cozy and friendly place.Very good food and wine list of choice.Nice experience!
I was still hungry leaving the restaurant despite a meal 3 services. The presentation was pretty and daring but the flavors and the search for tastes were not at the rendezvous. The atmosphere is friendly, relaxed and warm. However, the majority of the seats have no backrest which makes them uncomfortable and no place to put the coats if not below the tables but this one finished all dirty by our shoes. I'm glad I went but will not return.
Little cousin of Pastaga, this place offers organic, biodynamic and natural wines with small dishes ... you can even leave with bottles that are imported privately!
Antoine knew how to make our evening very pleasant. Passionate about his wines and his dishes, he made us discover several jewels of his cellar and recommended us the best dishes to arrange his slate. For lovers of raw, it's a "I return with pleasure"!
$ 1 oysters is always appealing, but the oysters were small and not on ice, so not cold enough. In addition, the presentation is average. The bourgots are good. Beef tartare is tasteless and warm. It felt like everything was room temperature. One cook does not seem enough .. the service was good. Beautiful wine list.
Went there for MTL à Table offer. Great place the food was good. The places at the counter against the wall are a bit small and not the most welcoming. But the service was great, the open kitchen is a really nice touch and the decor is pretty cool. The food was really nice and the dishes fit together nicely. The size of the plates seemed on the smaller side, but ended up being just perfect. Would recommend!
We loved the service and the quality of the products. The evening we went, there was a lack of staff in the kitchen, but our waitress held out to give us a glass of organic wine to thank us for waiting! (Thank you Marianne!) That's the kind of attention that weighs in the balance. We will definitely come back. We felt at home!👌🏼
Loved it! Excellent wine list, however you have to order food
Small room with friendly service and a fabulous wine list! Great for a late night hop
Awesome wine selection with great food, a must!
Very good selection of wines for all prices, it starts at $ 30-40 to $ 100 +.I find the prices of the food very reasonable for what is offered, the portions are good and the taste is at the rendezvous. I tried their tartares and ravioli and was very satisfied.
Good choice of wine, with a stock that is regularly renewed for more discoveries. Friendly staff. Note that you must take at least one dish per table to consume alcohol on site. same owner as Pastaga.
Super pleasant experience between friends. A service and atmosphere both casual and close. The kitchen is visible, making the experience even more unique. And what about the selection of wines !!!!
Nice place, excellent wine, tapas to share. Little point to review: the cook interacts with his phone while cooking but without bothering to clean his hands thereafter.
Quality at a low price. Excellent service and choice of natural wines. The place is not fancy though. The music comes from cheapo speaker.
Super good wine. Mika is a real professionnal cooker !
The atmosphere is very nice, friendly and intimate. However, the service was very slow, only two people serving and a cook for a full room; we waited about an hour and a half for our dishes (asparagus vinaigrette and a tartare bland). This is not a very big place. The waiter brought us a second glass of wine for the wait, but after paying, I realized that he had loaded them, which I had not realized before, not having received a bill . In short, disappointing, I feel like I paid a lot for an evening that was not worth it at all.
During the week of MTLATABLE, we enjoyed a light dinner, cozy ambiance for this little restaurant near Little Italy. They offered a fixed price (3 course meal, 2 items of choice for appetizers and 3 choices for main course) and was slightly disappointed that they ran out of the main course of salmon (we were part of the second seating at 730pm). We ended up getting beef tartare which was tasty. The wine we ordered was very natural which we enjoyed. Overall it was an OK experience, I think it could've been better.
good service and a selection of unique and interesting wine.By cons, a little decue dishes (and their prices), the discomfort of stools and lack of atmosphere on a Saturday night.
Tasting of 6 wines for 45$ is a good deal. Food was alright/good, but nothing special. I would NOT recommend the cheese and charcuterie platter. Disappointing. The service REALLY lacked when i went. I had to wait at least 20 minutes just to get the bill. Even asked for it. Twice.
Great choice of wines and tapas sized dishes. Place is small and cozy. Make sure to reserve in advance. Also, try the sister restaurant Pastaga a few steps away.
Nice as the experience. We believed in a wine cellar. Good old time music. The food is good to very good. Large selection of wine ... personal are kind. Verrine mousse is an idea as presentation.
Very good place to drink and eat well. Excellent selection of privately imported wines out of the ordinary. The cuisine is also innovative and refined. Everything is very accessible ($). Highly recommended.
Nice place, great food, awesome wine but the restaurant is small and the service slow even if the team is working like crazy.
How to take customers for cellars. The portions are ridiculous:- 3 ravioli $ 17- "cheese platter (2 small cheeses) and cold meats (2 small pieces)" (120g in total) for $ 18- tartare without salad $ 18Last time.
Amazing natural wines, artful small plates and smart, kind staff. My new home when I visit Montreal.
Fantastic wine list, attentive service and a warm atmosphere!
Amazing wines and food. Great service and wines to go ! Will be back 👌😁
Choice of natural wines to taste and take away delicious! Super nice place and good food too :) I love it!
Pleasant experience, especially for the choice of wines. The Montreal menu at the table was really very very affordable. We would have been willing to pay more for it to be more generous in ingredients.
Great service, great food, great ambiance. We went on a Tuesday and the Oyster was 1$ each!!! Love it.
One of my favorite places for natural wine and delicious cheese plates.
This place is super nice. We came her without a reservation early on a Friday night, our first night in Montreal. They were super friendly & seated us directly. We were given lots of information about their wines by the glass & it was easy to order vegan food as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our glasses of wine and food. The place fills up quickly as it's very popular, so it's best to book ahead if you come with a group. The chef cooks in front of you, as it's an open kitchen, it's a very relaxed atmosphere. Warmly recommended.PS: The airco is often too cold, but feel free to ask them to lower it.
Súper wine bar in Rosemont-La-Petite patrie. Staff is amazing and they know their products. I had the chance to have Jade as a waitress, sue was friendly and gave us really nice recommandations. Definitely a must!
I went last Friday and loved my dinner. The waitress was very good at advising us on the wine side (even if there were 3 of us who didn't really like the same things!) We took 2 bottles that everyone liked. The dishes also very good! The atmosphere was very pleasant. A beautiful place to go and drink well and eat well with friends. I will definitely go back!
The wine was bad, the service was very ordinary, and everything was grossly overpriced. A wine bar shouldn't serve overfermented wine and call it normal.
Great wine selection at a very reasonable price. Food is very good, but don't come here very hungry as portion are small and tapas like.
It's good. Especially since there is an option of cheap oysters during the week that allows a good time, especially since the choice of wines is irreproachable in the value for money.
The wine selection and service are impeccable. In addition, it's affordable. I adopt and recommend without hesitation.
Soup & Bubbles ! Exactly what I needed. 🍵🍾
